This year I gathered friends and family at gurney plaza and everyone required to wear either white or red outfit only. The outcomes of the picture are simply awesome. Though the night seems to be very short because Xmas falls on weekdays and mostly needs to work and can only arrive after work etc. Last year seem to be better, oh well.. human needs to learn to appreciate what we have; I NEED TO LEARN. So here I am saying.. a little fun is a lot better than having a sucky night. =)

Just like last year, Xmas BBQ at my place. The simple gathering has become my yearly chores. To join this humble party u just need to follow a few simple rules; bring a food to share and a gift to exchange. After all, to me Xmas is about gathering, giving and sharing. I felt that last year more picture of me and less oily (my face that is). This year, less picture of me because my face gotten oily like… tsk tsk…

Although a few familiar faces are missing, there are quite a few no. of new guest that aren’t invited by me. Oh well, as long as they don’t destroy the atmosphere will be fine with me.

Ouch.. My rusty body who haven been to gym since like ages ago been screaming in pain since Sunday annual Starwalk. It is my second year joined Starwalk which I still didn’t manage to get myself any medal nor lucky draw prizes. Sigh.. me and my luck.. Nvm.. It won’t deter me from joining again next year. Third time is the charm (i hope..@.@”)

Brought my sister to Gurney Plaza just to watch Baby Looney Tunes Musical Concert. OMG.. Lola, Bugs Bunny, Daffy, Tweety and Sylvester are oh so cute. I just can’t snap enough of them.

Should it be Xmas or Christmas? My msn nick used to be “Xmas is coming to town”, until I got “sound” by Wendy regarding Xmas, she said I left out Jesus Christ by replacing it with X, for the sake of pleasing her and my conscience, I changed it. Just now suddenly I have the urge to add my knowledge about “Christmas”, so I went to Wikipedia. Then I discover this;

The word “Christmas” is a contraction of two words “Christ’s mass” and is derived from the Middle English Christemasse and Old English Cristes mæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038. In early Greek versions of the New Testament, the letter Χ (chi), is the first letter of Christ (Χριστός). Since the mid-16th century Χ, or the similar Roman letter X, was used as an abbreviation for Christ. Thus, Xmas is an abbreviation for Christmas.

Oh well, at least I know more about Xmas. ^^

I don’t really know why I’m so fond of Xmas; perhaps the joy of receiving gifts, the colourful Xmas tree or just a simple smile from the person who are pleased with the gift I gave. To me Xmas is about getting together, having fun and sharing. So same ol me, this year is no exception from open house, partying and a visit to the orphanage. I’m so looking forward for bbq-ing my face, facial snow spray mask and my once a year part time job; Santarina.
