Oh my god, here I am blogging about my love hate relationship with my favourite tHorny king. Not my bf King B or the infamous cow moo moo. Just a tiny tHorny, smelly, squishy creamy and yummy fruit named Durian.

I’m so hot and I do mean it. Just ate a dozen of Durian and my body is reacting towards it. I bet many have experienced the hotness from this infamous fruits before.

I’ve been avoiding the Ol King for so long. Until I got an sms yesterday on my way back home from Bon Odori while stucked in the traffic. My Godbro Alan sms me a killer question, “Mei Mei want durian?”.

Got pondered awhile before I sms back,

“Yes~~ I do”.

Then,

Just now Koko came with a box of durian, a bag of mangosteen and rambutans. After I showed him my RM10,000 room and chit chat awhile then when he left,

My durian feast began.

Muahahaha, me and greediness caused me to chow down 7 of it.

Uhuhuhu…

So guess what,

now

I’m sitting here
feeling so
Hot..

Sheesh..

The soft, creamy texture can be very addictive. Once u start, it is very hard to stop. That’s why I love it and yet I hate is as much too. I hate it for causing me overeat and gave me a bloated stomach and became superbly hot (not in a good way k..) but still love it for the above above mentioned reason.

Ying Yang….
After taste a lil bitter then a lil sweet then walla..
I’m High~~ on Durian …lololol

*When artist had too much Durian*

Monument to durian at the Davao International Airport..

Singapore’s Esplanade building, nicknamed “The Durian”

I wonder if they have this sign in the Esplanade.. =D

Remember to eat mangosteen after you ate your fair share of the fruit. It’s a popular believe that mangosteen can cure the heat caused by Durian.

I tried but still, I’m sitting here blogging with a cup of hot herbal tea.

Just incase the mangosteen not power enough to cool down lil ol me. ehehe

So my conclusion is, Thanks Ko for bringing me the Durian.

P.S. for those who are reading, go get some Durian to Heat your life. It may be not too good for ya health but just to spice up zee taste. ^^

Oiyoyo… so many things so little time. Oh well since today is celebration of dumpling festival might as well blog a little about it since something very touching happened.

Dumpling, Bak Chang or Zong, or zongzi is a traditional Chinese food, made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves. I tried Wikipedia Bak Chang and I’m surprised that they even have info on them.

“Zongzi is traditionally eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival (Mandarin: Duanwu; Cantonese: Tuen Ng) which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar (approximately early- to mid-June), commemorating the death of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese poet from the kingdom of Chu who lived during the Warring States period. Known for his patriotism, Qu Yuan tried unsuccessfully to warn his king and countrymen against the expansionism of their Qin neighbors. When the Qin Dynasty general Bai Qi took Yingdu, the Chu capital, in 278 BC, Qu Yuan’s grief was so intense that he drowned himself in the Miluo river after penning the Lament for Ying. According to legend, packets of rice were thrown into the river to prevent fish from eating the poet’s body.[1] Another version states that zongzi were given to placate a dragon that lived in the river”, courtesy of Wikipedia.

Normally every year during this time I don’t get to consume more than a quarter of a dumpling, not because of I don’t want to but I can’t consume glutinous stuff and other hard to digest food. If I did, up it goes. Thought this year going to be no different than any other years but I’m shocked when B brought me dumpling that his mom make. It is made of brown rice instead of glutinous and prawns free (I’m seafood allergic) too. I’m so touched, his mom make it for me just right. Never knew that there can be a Chang that can be catered just the way I can consume it. Already lucky enough to have BB and now his mummy too.. oish… this is too overwhelming.. AMEN!! ^^

Happy Dumpling Festival!!
Enjoy…

P.S. Alright got to go for my prize giving ceremony for cosplay competition. Will blog about it soon.

Yumi came back to our little pearl island for Qing Ming from KL, so before she goes back we went out with part of our used to be “kuih club geng”. The restaurant Located at the upper level of our largest mall in northern region, Queensbay Mall.

It is a restaurant with toilet as their theme. Thank god there is no shitty food in their menu although I encounter with some shitty incident during my meal. First Yumi ticked the wrong choice of food for me then when asked for another bowl from the waitress, she also ticked the wrong one. Sheesh. Is it so hard for a girl to get a bowl of curried chicken baked rice?? Sigh.. Well “To add salt to the wound”, literally, my food is too salty. Ouih @@”

Ok lar, Not all the food here taste yucky, some of the food here is still edible. The tomyam soup is very nice since I’m allergic to seafood, the Tomyam Chicken did served me well. The Oreo drink that Alex order taste nice too.

When you dine in your toilet, you probably don’t want to leave out the Kodak moment. Not everyday you get to eat in your “Lavatory”, “Restroom”, “Washroom”, or the simplest “TOILET”.

T Menu

Even their table followed the theme

Shower anyone??

That potty is calling for some Kodak moment.. uhuhuh..
wait til i finish the soup..

Cute right… but who would ever thought of filling food in the potty..

Rushed down to KL just to attend my beloved cousin sis 21st Birthday Party (hope she appreciate it). Before her big day I take the opportunity to meet my great ol Guru aka MR. MAK.K.W.

MAK making funny faces.. *his smile remind me of Elmo* akaka…

Mak brought me to Delicious by Ms. Read for lunch. I had my all time favourite lasagna and the chocolate brownie that he tempted me with not long ago for dessert. I never interested in chocolaty indulgence as I’m a cheese freak but I made an exception since Mak said until its OH SO GREAT. As much as I thought it’s just another ordinary too sweet chocolaty treat but Ms. Read “Chocolate Brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream” is really.. I do mean REALLY YUMMY!!!!

Sinfully Wonderful =P

They heat up the brownie and serve it with hot chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream on top. It’s a combination of hot & cold and chocolate & vanilla. Just the way I like it, well balance. Not only hot and bored but it’s spike up with a hint of coldness, not too chocolaty as it’s balanced out with vanilla cream. Ahh.. now that’s what I call of having the best of both world. Thanks MAK~~
