Ever since Jo dyed hair to brown, had the feeling
that Lilmejo.com banner doesn’t match Lil oL Me       
whenever posted current pictures because in banner is me in black hair
but can’t change to brown hair as well because I still have loads of picture
of me in black hair that I want to post.

After much consideration, decided to change to pictures of me in my infamous pink wig that I have worn to many function and events.

 

Snapped new banner pictures around 2 years ago for a contest,
unfortunately the contest bail on its contestant by chicken out and move on life
as though this event never happen.
A big company with a famous brand but disappoints me greatly.  
Anyway this post isn’t about failed contest so shall end and continue

This is 2nd Rock to Rock Run held at Hard Rock Hotel Penang.
Saw it the first time but didn’t join and
regretted every bits when my friends posted about it..
So when the 2nd time came you bet I’m totally thrilled and got myself registered ASAP.

 

Well thanks to Terry most for helping me 
with the registration and getting the T-shirt and all..
He’s my buddy for madness when in Penang..
He’s also one of the people who are cuckoo with costume..
My close buddy ever since we won Best Dressed at Digi Birthday Bash at QEII
We not only decided to join but we’re aiming to be on the Top Ten Best Dressed list

 

The registration start at 6.30am, an hour estimated for driving up there
Woke up about 4.00am to make up and blow dry hair etc
andI slept around 12am… Mad tired wei.. =.=
If you just go there to run then fine but since we are going in costume
So…. Dai lor  
Early early forced to wake up to get ready X.x

I got it from my local shop that sell artificial flower,
to be exact -
“A tu Z Wedding House “ in Butterworth Penang
I show them pictures of flower leis that I got it from Google search
and pick the colour that I want..

You can easily made with straw, string, fake flower
and get the step by step guide again via Google Search
I did DIY Leis for my birthday party guest as a props for Picture moment
Just purposely go buy my self one specially made by the pro as I’m the birthday girl
would love to have something Extra special  

 

 

It is called Flower Leis or Lei?
Same thing just that the
Real word originated from Hawaii singular and plural is called  ”Lei”
While anglicized version is called “Leis”

 

 

 

My top is just a simple white tube top
So I don’t think I need to elaborate on that   

 

For the for the bottom part
My long dress

 

 

 

 

A green flowy dress I bought
from Thailand Food & Clothing Fair
in Megamal Pinang Shopping Complex

 

 

 

I cover this part with a flower belt
that I also specially got it custome made from above mentioned shop

I just use simple hair pin to attach the belt to it dress

Again, I choose my own flower and they mix it with large leaves

The just stick it with glue gun, tie it together artistically
You can try to DIY yourself, I just let them do it their way

 

 

Both of the flower belt and leis
cost me around RM70 or RM80 i forgot but for sure below RM100

 

 

What did I do with it after the party?

 

 

 

I attached it across my mirror as a decoration

TONS!! Nuffnang never fail to throw awesome parties, especially COSTUME PARTY!
Everyone know I had a thing for costume and Nuffnang feed my craze perfectly fine ^^
Went to countless of their costume party but wouldn’t want to doze ya’ll off so I shall highlight few  

 

 

How it all begin??

I have to printscreen each photo so the quality bad totally got nothing to do with his skill  =)

 

Went to this event all alone and knowing nobody from blogsphere really terrified me
not to mention all the way from Penang but like I mentioned gazillion time..
Just my luck to always get good friends from everywhere and anywhere who help me

 

 

I realised in my post I mentioned how grateful I met Estee and all
but there is another person I forgot to mention.. Who?

 

 

Her on the right! Miss Kimberly
She is the 1st ever I talk to as soon as I reached the event, all alone and late and don’t know
what to do. She saw me then ask who and what then straight busy getting people to register
and get me a label.

 

Although she is all dressed up in black bat,
I looked at her as though I saw an angel SERIOUSLY!
She hold my hand and in a very caring tone
“Oh my god, all the way from Penang.. Poor girl…  need to get you registered”
that’s all I could remember..Super Nice kay?!
When I’m just a nobody, she treated me gracefully  :’)
Wanted to thank her personally but always no chance to bump into her 
then saw her long after already don’t dare to mention..
Glad now I get a chance to tell my story and spill out my gratitude

 

 

 

I thought nominee is as far I can get

As I though knowing nobody and asking them to vote for me is like IMPOSSIBLE
so touched when Estee go get votes from everyone for me and also few others who
approached me telling me they wish I can win and root for me etc  :’)

Every moment with every second ticking away and day in day out one after another
How to describe the HAPPIEST MOMENT?

 

For me, honestly I can’t narrow down my
Happiest Moment into a picture, ONE picture
For I believe the chances of Happiest Moment occurring is endless & unpredictable
because as long as I’m still breathing there will always be another Happiest Moment
popping up anytime and anywhere waiting to be capture.

 

YESH, I am one of the people who wish to carry around a dslr everywhere I go
but normally got brushed off when it comes to choosing between quality and
convenient. Countless time where the MOMENT occur and all I can say is
“SHOOT.. If only I’m carrying a good quality camera with me” Bummer I know..
So *hint hint* PEN Darling O~ Come to mama pls…

 

 

 

When people say “Heart Jumping with Joy”
We do feel like jumping each time we reach our utmost happiest moment
If not because of afraid others might mistaken us for being insane  
you should be able to spot people jumping from everywhere.

 

 

 

 

I’m lucky to be surrounded by people who don’t mind me
showing my Happiest Moment gesture.
Best is they don’t even mind joining me to create The Moment    

 

 

Jumping is not the only movement
we can do to show the joy in our heart.
and outdoor is not the only place to express..

Kids HAPPIEST MOMENT is the easiest to spot
As they don’t restrain themself from showing but not the easiest to be capture
we need *hint hint* 5.5 fps high-speed sequential shooting aka PEN series ^^
well really need a high speed because kids you know.. are just being kids..
Like Energizer bunny or even Speedy gonzales.. they’re fast! 

 

 

Easily forgiven as people will just say
“Let them be, they’re just being kids” 
But HEY!
Kids are not the only one who can express and be silly 
 

 

 

 

Regardles our age, we’re are allow to have Fun and show our Happiest Moment
No Law saying we can’t have fun due to age and all right?!
